1st Annual Central Florida Lifestyle’s Father’s Day Recipe Showdown

Submission opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 1st, 2024. Deadline for entries is 5 p.m. on Friday, June 7th, 2024

Step 1: Choose a Favorite Recipe

• Select a recipe that holds special significance for you and your father. It could be a cherished family favorite, a dish with a memorable story, or a recipe that reminds you of him.

Step 2: Record the Cooking Process

• Ensure you have a camera or smartphone with good video quality.
• Make sure your workspace is clearly visible.
• Record yourself or your dad cooking the chosen recipe. Capture all the steps, including any special tips or tricks he uses.

Step 3: Submit Your Entry

• Go to the official contest webpage.
• Complete the entry form with your details.
• Double-check all the information and click the “Submit” button.

Step 4: Upload the Video to Facebook

• When you’re done filling out the information, upload it to your personal Facebook.
• Title your video “Central Florida Lifestyle’s Father’s Day Recipe Showdown – (Your Name)” and include a brief description.
• Make sure to @Central Florida Lifestyle, so that it notifies us directly that this is your submission. (We will not be able to see it, if you don’t tag us).

Step 5: Voting and Results

• Share your video with your audience via Facebook.
• Use the hashtags: #DadsUltimateRecipe and #CentralFloridaLifestyle.
• The voting period begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday, 6/8 and ends at 5 p.m. on Friday, 6/14.
• Votes are recorded based on the number of likes, comments, and shares each entry receives.
• Anyone can vote—voting is not limited by geographic location.
• Winners will be announced at 11 a.m. on 6/15.

Eligibility

• The Father’s Day Recipe Showdown is open to legal residents of Florida.
• No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
• Must be a legal resident of Central Florida.
• Only one recipe per submission.
