Disney Cruise Line is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan that will not only grow its fleet but also bring a wave of innovation and sustainability to the high seas. By 2031, Disney will add four new ships to its lineup, bringing the total to 13, opening up a world of new destinations and experiences for passengers.
New Ships, New Destinations, and More Magic

The newly announced ships will each carry around 3,000 passengers and will measure about 100,000 gross tons—making them smaller than the Disney Dream and Disney Wish but larger than the classic Disney Magic. Sustainability at Sea: A Greener Disney Cruise Line
As part of its commitment to environmental responsibility, Disney Cruise Line is making strides in fuel efficiency with its new ships. These vessels will be equipped with next-generation propulsion systems and a battery system that supports their main engines, reducing fuel consumption. They will also be adaptable to a variety of sustainable fuels, including hydrotreated vegetable oil and renewable methanol, which will help minimize the carbon footprint of each journey.

- 2027: The debut of the fourth Wish-class ship, a sister ship to the Disney Wish, Treasure, and Destiny. This vessel will be slightly larger at 144,000 gross tons, carrying up to 4,000 passengers.
By 2031, Disney’s fleet will have expanded to 13 ships, offering more options for guests to explore the world in Disney-style.
