With Florida’s unemployment rate currently at 3.6%, slightly higher than it was this time last year, many residents are actively exploring new job opportunities. To support local job seekers, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) is partnering with the Taft & Oak Ridge Neighborhood Center for Families to host a free job fair in Orlando on Wednesday, April 16.

The event will be held at the Taft Community Center (9450 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL 32824) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., offering a valuable platform for professionals across all industries to connect directly with hiring employers.

More than 20 companies, including major employers like Orange County Government and Rosen Hotels & Resorts, will be on-site conducting interviews and accepting applications.

Job seekers are encouraged to:

  • Dress in professional attire

  • Bring printed copies of their résumé

  • Be prepared for on-the-spot interviews

This job fair is open to the public and aims to bridge the gap between employers and Central Florida’s skilled workforce. Whether you’re new to the job market or looking to advance your career, this event provides a chance to network, explore openings, and gain valuable face time with recruiters.
