$250,000

On Thursday, April 30, at the CFHLA Membership Luncheon, The Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association awarded its largest grant in the 35-year history of the association: $250,000 to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. This grant will provide CFHLA the naming rights of the center’s only Barnie’s Hospitality Coffee Bar, located on the second floor near the center’s main staircase.

This donation represents CFHLA’s commitment to the renaissance of the downtown Orlando community and cultural tourism. Jim Pugh, chairman of the board of directors for the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, was in attendance to accept this grant. Mr. Pugh has been the inspirational leader for this community project over the last 12 years.

CFHLA is proud to be a partner and supporter of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
