Orlando Brewing is dedicated to creating high-quality beers by brewing each one at its downtown Orlando location in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516, which says that beers should only be brewed with water, hops, yeast and malted barley – no adjuncts or additives. The team at Orlando Brewing went one step further by using only organic ingredients in its brews, setting the selections apart from its competitors.
With an influx of breweries across the state, Orlando Brewing is proud to have its beers be the first ones declared “fresh from Florida.” In 2006, it was certified as an organic brewery, making it the only U.S.D.A. certified organic brewery south of Vermont and east of Colorado. Now, Orlando Brewing beers can be found in more than 500 bars and retailers across the state.
This month, Orlando Brewing is celebrating 10 Years Brewing Organic Beers by hosting a series of events for its supporters. Leading up to the big celebration on April 7, brewery fans can expect smaller events like tastings, an art festival, a beer breakfast and a dog day.
At 3 p.m. on April 7, the brewery will release 10 limited edition brews in commemoration of the big 1-0 as well as a special anniversary glass. As you enjoy these specialty beers, grab a bite to eat from the Vital Flair food truck and rock out to live music from The Brew Yardis Project, Tears of Tyrant and Eugene Showden & Friends. There will also be a variety of local vendors on site.
