Miguel and Maggie Senior founded IRM in 1996. Friends began to inquire about what they were doing and asked for help with their own real estate ventures. That’s when they knew they could help those in their circle and beyond.
Growth of the Brand
While IRM’s beginnings were humble, the company has grown steadily in the past 20 years. In addition to the Central Florida office, which services communities from Avalon Park to Windermere areas as well as from Celebration to downtown Orlando and Longwood, IRM also has an office in Miami.
Agents specialize in income-generating investment properties, new home sales and re-sales for residential properties, and vacation homes. In addition, IRM has an in-house property management department to support investors in renting their properties. The entire staff is professionally trained and operates under the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics.
In the past 10 years, IRM’s property management division nearly doubled in size.
The company started with one property for management in 2001 and now has over 400 properties. The growth of local listings due to the sale of investment homes generates properties for the management aspect of the company. Basically, IRM’s inventory of homes is always growing rather than shrinking.
IRM’s success was grown through the team’s values, hard work and dedication as well as through referrals. “Since we dedicate so much of our time and effort to each client, they always refer us to their friends and families,” Maggie says.
A Family-Style Business
The atmosphere of family that is prevalent in the office is important to the whole staff and for the productivity of the office.
Property managers and sales agents have always mentioned how comfortable they feel working at IRM. The office culture thrives on having the same values, ethics and sense of professionalism, all of which make each agent feel integrated and part of the family.
Carmen Rodriguez has been the operations manager of IRM for 17 years. She assists in following up with agents to make sure they are completing continuing education courses and trainings as well as completing software updates that keep them up to date on the trends happening within the real estate market. She also keeps track of license renewals and coordinates closings and commission payments. When it comes to the management division, she manages contracts and leases and works with new tenants to ensure they have everything they need.
“This place has become my family, not just my employer,” she says. “We have been through thick and thin together. Also, I like the way they do business in an honest manner and work professionally with each client at all levels of the transaction.”
Get More with IRM
The company’s website allows users to peruse MLS listings, search company listings and view featured listings from communities across Central Florida. Agents also work with clients to help them find the right property for their family and help them sell their properties when the time has come. The staff also manages long-term rental properties for investors who live out of state and out of the country including in Iceland, Europe and South America.
All of IRM’s services are expedited with the evolution of technology and its paperless system. Clients can go online to view invoices and to check on their properties while tenants can pay easily online. This keeps out-of-state clients, some in different time zones, in touch with what’s going on without having to worry about calling the office.
IRM has been built on a culture of hard work, dedication and family ideals. The team credits each and every client for pushing them to be at their best every day and for allowing them to achieve their dreams of representing the local real estate market for the past 20 years.
