When Ryman Hospitality Properties teamed up with Opry member Blake Shelton to launch lifestyle and entertainment brand Ole Red in 2017, they had one goal in mind: deliver the best of Southern food, hospitality, and live country music all under one roof. The state-of-the-art entertainment venue opened in Orlando’s ICON Park in summer 2020 – joining other locations in Nashville, Gatlinburg and Blake’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma – and it’s been rockin’ ever since.
Ole Red was designed to embody the spirit of Blake Shelton’s clever, irreverent hit “Ol’ Red” by creating new destinations for locals and visitors alike to enjoy top-quality live country music. Equipped with a large stage, concert-quality production and state-of-the-art sound capabilities, Ole Red Orlando at ICON Park hosts an impressive daily lineup of live performances by today and tomorrow’s top country performers, from up-and-coming artists to previous contestants from “The Voice” to celebrity guests. And of course, Blake’s taken the stage himself with two visits to the restaurant in just the past 12 months. Blake also occasionally calls Ole Red via video chat. The Ole Red team prides itself on providing an experience unlike any other with amazing music, incredible talent and a laid-back dining atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.
This summer, Ole Red Orlando at ICON Park is the perfect place to enjoy 100-proof live music, scratch made dishes and signature drinks inspired by Blake Shelton himself. Guests can escape the heat with a few of Ole Red’s signature craft cocktails including the Redneck Mai Tai and Frose alongside a wide selection of all-American fare. Entrees like Red Red Redneck Shrimp, Smoked Brisket Tacos and Bar-B-Que Gator Wings will have you coming back for more. Earlier this year, Ole Red Orlando at ICON Park launched Honky-Tonk Nights, which transports guests to a Nashville-inspired dance floor every Friday and Saturday to let loose to classic country hits performed by some of Orlando’s best artists. And for those who have proudly served our military, Ole Red offers a 10% discount for military and active service members.
In honor of its second birthday, Ole Red Orlando will be sponsoring The Wheel at ICON Park throughout June and July. Any guest who takes a ride on the 400-foot observation wheel can receive a free order of one of the restaurant’s signature appetizers Fried Pickles and Green Tomatoes – House Pickled Green Tomatoes, Red and White Bar-B-Que Sauces.
