Dr. Randy Gittess now operates alongside Dr. Jason Battle as part of Central Florida’s leading team at Premiere Orthodontics, and together they will deliver top quality, fast and effective orthodontic treatment to the Central Florida community.

With the same high-quality dental care and professional teams that Gittess Orthodontics has always had, this merger brings the two practices together to offer patients access to two highly trained doctors, more office locations, and a bigger team devoted to delivering beautiful smiles across Central Florida.

Dr. Gittess believes education is a life-long endeavor. As a precocious and bright student, he skipped two grades in school and entered college when he was 16. He then went on to earn a degree in chemistry and philosophy at the age of 20 from the University of Miami.

Wanting to combine his love for science and working with his hands, Gittess decided to pursue dentistry. “Dentistry gave me the opportunity to be scientific and also creative,” says Gittess. He continued his education at the Medical College of Virginia, becoming a Doctor of Dental Surgery.

After Gittess opened his private practice in Miami, he found that more and more of his free time was spent in the nearby orthodontic office. That’s when he decided to further his dental education and pursue orthodontics. Dr. Gittess attended the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia for three years to receive his certificate in orthodontics. 

When not devoting time to his practice, Gittess enjoys cycling, golf, cooking and travel – and now spending time with his grandchildren.

“Dr. Battle and I have been colleagues for 14 years, sitting together at professional meetings and working out ways to include new information and techniques into our practices,” says Dr. Gittess. “When I made a decision to reduce the hours of my professional career to pursue different kinds of adventures with my family, our practices were philosophically so similar it just made sense to join our practices together.”

While Dr. Gittess plans to spend more of his time with family, he will be bringing his expertise to Premiere Orthodontics. 

“Dr. Gittess has been an industry and community leader for decades,” says Dr. Battle. “From treatment and branding to even the after school van to/from appointments, he’s always been on the cutting edge of technology and how to implement it in patient care. I’ve admired him for the way that he is always looking to improve the specialty of orthodontics. I am beyond excited to work with Dr. Gittess and merge our styles. He has a great 40-year history in central Florida and we hope to continue that for many decades to come at Premiere Orthodontics.”
