DIY: How to Make Your Own Valentines

This Valentine’s Day, help your kids make their own special valentines to pass out to their classmates. These DIY ideas have a special homemade touch and they’re sugar-free – though just as sweet as their candy counterparts!

DIY Duck

Make your Valentine quack up with this adorable DIY Duck Valentine. It’s cute for classmates and easy to make! Here’s how to do it.

What you need:

-Scissors

-Hole puncher

-Valentine Rubber Duckies (available for purchase on Amazon)

-Red Bakers Twine (available for purchase on Amazon)

-Quack Me Up printouts (available free for print!)

Step 1: Print out your Quack Me Up cards and cut them into individual squares.

Step 2: Punch a hole through the card using a hole puncher and thread a piece of the bakers twine (cut to size) through the hole to make a small necklace.

Step 3: Tie this necklace around your rubber ducky’s neck with a cute knot. Now it’s ready to share with your valentine!

DIY Friendship Bracelet

What you need:

-Homemade friendship bracelets or those available for purchase on websites such as Pura Vida

-Our Class Would Knot Be The Same Without You printouts (available for free print!)

Step 1: Print out your Our Class Would Knot Be The Same Without You cards and cut them into individual squares.

Step 2: Take your friendship bracelets and tie them around the card with the front of the bracelet in the center of the heart.

Step 3: Pass out and enjoy your sweet valentine that is sure to make the whole class smile!
