Walt Disney World recently announced they are set to introduce a new lounge within the geodesic sphere of EPCOT—GEO-82. This adult-only venue will offer cocktails and globally inspired small plates in a themed setting.
A Tribute to History
The name GEO-82 references Spaceship Earth’s opening in 1982, highlighting its historical significance within EPCOT. The lounge will incorporate elements that acknowledge the attraction’s past and future.
Reservations and Access
GEO-82 will have limited capacity, and advance reservations will be required. Details about the reservation process will be provided at a later date.
This lounge will be available to guests 21 and older. A valid photo ID will be required for entry.
Opening in 2025
GEO-82 is scheduled to open in 2025. Another lounge, a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern, is also planned for Adventureland at Magic Kingdom later that year.
