Winter Park will be rattling in the noise of heavy rock ‘n’ roll this Friday night, June 9, as 152 Productions hosts a premium live music event of six local bands.
Performances from The Pheromones, Never Lucky, Accident Attorneys, Lady Heroine, Jameson Tank, and The Flirt will take place at the Conduit on Aloma Avenue with anticipation to leave the crowd sweating.
Bands such as Accident Attorneys have been waiting to play an event of this scale since they formed in 2022. Lead singer and rhythm guitarist Melanie Jomsky said she feels honored to play this show and is excited to play with her band again.
“I’ve been back home for summer, so I’ve been looking forward to being reunited with them, and it’s been a while since the last time we played a show,” Jomsky said.
The ticketed event’s doors will open at 7:00 P.M.; tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Standard general admission prices begin at $15 but will go up to $20 if purchased upon arrival at the event.
Jomsky said this event will introduce fans and event attendees to a new side of the band. Past set lists consisted of slower songs from indie rock artists like Phoebe Bridgers and Snail Mail, according to Jomsky.
“The audience can expect faster songs from us for this set because we’re doing a completely new set from what we’ve done previously,” Jomsky said. “We’re also playing a new song that we just wrote too.”
Along with a revamped set list, Accident Attorneys is finally finding their unique sound in a competitive local music scene, lead guitarist and vocalist Kylie Kuhn said.
“We’ve really started to find our sound and get more comfortable as performers, so I’m super excited for this show,” Kuhn said. “I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s sets and we can’t wait to share the stage with them.”
