A decade of hearing “Baby Shark doo, doo, doo” has gone by and SeaWorld announced on Thursday they have teamed up with The Pinkfong Company, the global entertainment company behind Baby Shark to celebrate the anniversary.
“For 10 years, Baby Shark has brought joy to families around the world, and we’re thrilled to celebrate this milestone with SeaWorld. This collaboration creates unforgettable experiences that bring Baby Shark’s world to life in a whole new way,” Bin Jeong, CEO, of Pinkfong USA said.
Live character interactions will be brought to SeaWorld parks starting April 18 in SeaWorld San Diego before heading to SeaWorld Orlando on June 30 for the summer. The characters will later head to SeaWorld San Antonio for the fall starting on September 11.
The three parks will have immersive Baby Shark experiences including:
- Live character meet & greets with Baby Shark and Pinkfong
- Themed activities, food and merchandise
- Chances to win a “Fin-tastic” family getaway through a national sweepstakes
“We are excited to team up with The Pinkfong Company to bring the fun of Baby Shark to life in our parks, pairing education with entertainment in engaging and fun ways,” Marc Swanson, CEO of United Parks & Entertainment said. “This collaboration allows us to connect with families in a new, unique, and memorable way while also reinforcing our mission of marine life conservation.”
Alongside the celebrations, SeaWorld and Pinkfong are also collaborating on a 2-minute animated music video debuting on April 30. The plot follows Baby Shark and Pinkfong visiting SeaWorld as veterinarians where they meet baby turtles rescued by the SeaWorld Rescue Team and help care for them. After a day working as vets, Baby Shark and Pinkfong enjoy some of their favorite SeaWorld rides and attractions.
The video will be on Pinkfong’s YouTube channel as well as SeaWorld’s social media channels.
