This is a Beginning Beekeepers Class. 🐝🐝🐝 We will go over the basics, how to light a smoker, tools needed, hive contents Etc. We will get into a hive and check it all out, go frame by frame and explain what you’re seeing. This class will cover all the basics and how to become a backyard beekeeper. Class time is 9AM – 2PM Lunch will be catered and refreshments are provided throughout the class. We will have a Q&A session where you can ask Dennis The Bee Guy anything! Then we will end with a Honey Tasting 🍯🍯🤩 and you can visit the Farm store! 💜💙💚 Please Note: We will be in the bee yard, please dress accordingly. Pants and closed toe shoes are required. If you have a bee suit, please bring it. We will have extra bee suits for those who do not have one. All ticket sales are final and cannot be refunded or transferred.

The parade will kick off at the Downtown Orlando Courthouse and make its way to the beautiful Lake Eola Park. Come celebrate the legacy of Dr. King with vibrant floats, marching bands and community groups. It’s a day filled with unity, inspiration and fun for all ages. Join us as we honor Dr. King’s mission and let’s be intentional about protecting and promoting his dream through our works.

Our parade theme for 2025 is “Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice, and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence 365.” This is a call to action for each of us to remain united in the spirit of love and nonviolence as we continue to advocate for a just and equitable society. Movie in the Park begins at Dusk on the Amphitheatre Lawn

Join us for a charming evening at Movie Night in The Park, hosted at The Oviedo Amphitheatre in Center Lake Park! The movie (Elemental) kicks off at dusk, approximately 6:00 PM.

Be sure to bring along your favorite blanket or comfy lawn chairs for a cozy viewing experience.

To snag the best seats on the family lawn, arrive early as spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Make the most of your time at Center Lake Park by exploring its various attractions, including three spacious lawns, a dog park, a moving Veterans Tribute, a splash pad, and playground. There’s something for everyone here! Plus, discover nearby restaurants and bars within walking distance of the park, and rest assured that parking is free.

Center Lake Park’s, Cantina Concession stand will be open for food purchases, weather permitting, 2pm-7pm.

This year’s event will feature, fine single malt, blended scotch and American whiskeys including bourbon and rye, flavored whiskeys, beer, and wine. The Grand Tasting allows guests to sample close to 100 whiskey brands and interact with industry professionals. Delicious food selections will be available as well as entertainment and cigars.

This year’s event will be held on Friday, February 21 st, at the Orlando Science Center. VIP Admission begins at 6:30 pm with General Admission beginning at 7:30 pm on Friday, Feb 21 st. The last pour is at 10:30 pm.
