Community Based Care of Central Florida is partnering with the Sheriff’s Office of Seminole County, Guardian ad Litem and Seminole County Friends of Abused Children to host “Light of Hope,” a ceremony to remember the thousands of abused and neglected children in Florida and recognize those who provide them with a voice.

The event will feature a lights and siren procession, helicopter flyover and several keynote speakers, including Glen Casel, CEO of Community Based Care of Central Florida; Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma, a child abuse survivor and others. Organizations, families and friends will gather in the empty parking lot on the corner of 17-92 and 18th St. at 5:45 p.m. for a “Lights and Sirens Car Procession” to the event.
