Knock Out Neutrals

Designed by Francia Fusik, All in One Decorating Solutions

Glass Glamour
Wing back chairs with brushed gold fabric make dining comfortable, but the earth toned, glass tile on the accent wall make this room pop. You don’t have to use magenta and lime green to liven up a room. Quiet colors such as brown, tan, winter white and even clear can capture the eye too.

Eat-in Style
This eat-in kitchen dining area keeps things fresh with contemporary hanging lights. When the table is not being used for eating, prep work in this kitchen takes on a decidedly elegant feeling. Interesting, but simple, items like these clear crystal decorated lights can help you transform functional areas into focal points.

Bedroom Bliss
Here again, neutrals keep things very subdued but still deliver a surprise. Instead of lamps, the side tables showcase elongated vases. The soft gold color brings a little shimmer in a very peaceful environment. A large mirror is both useful and decorative. But it’s the chunky, gold-toned frame that makes a bold statement in this retreat.

Rock and Roll
Having an open-concept living room means the neutral theme needs to carry on. To add a little edge, Fusik mixes soft and hard elements. A pale fur throw pillow encourages sitting and curling up with a good book. Meanwhile, the stiff lines of the coffee table with its exposed concrete top suggest a deconstructed skyscraper. A free form bowl in gold, tan and sand ties everything together and celebrates the power of neutrals.
