Judson’s Live at Dr. Phillips Center kicks off its new, musically themed brunch on April 21.
The series will combine a mouthwatering menu with top-shelf performances—from Latin to jazz, bluegrass and R&B. Themes, artists and the curated menu, inspired by the art center’s executive chef, Jason Klingensmith, will change every event.
“We want this new brunch series to transport guests to a place where the room’s music meets its savory counterparts,” says Chef Klingensmith. “Guests will enjoy a selection of made-to-order themed dishes and specialty serving stations, featuring flavor and fresh ingredients at every turn.”
Taking the stage for the inaugural event is the Za-Boo-Zays, a Central Florida trio composed of vocalists Hannah Harber Wynn, Olivia Wynn Roche and Kaleigh Baker. The two-hour Southern Brunch menu will feature elevated takes on comfort-food favorites like chicken & waffles, short ribs & grits, pecan bread pudding, blueberry cobbler and more.
Space is limited and the ticket price is $95 per guest, available here for purchase.

British Blues Rock Artist Will Johns, Nephew of Eric Clapton and George Harrison, Performing at Judson’s Live March 30th
Some gifts run in the family, like eye color, athletic ability or that pesky bald gene. Will Johns, nephew of Eric Clapton and George Harrison, clearly received the music gene from his famous family.
A well-respected songwriter and magnetic performer, Will has released three previous albums and been nominated for ‘Best Original Blues Song’ by the British Blues Awards for three consecutive years.
“I’m really looking forward to playing more dates at some of Florida’s best known music venues and especially the brand-new Judson’s Live in Orlando,” says Johns. “My music was very well received last year and to be able to do shows all around the state this tour, for new audiences is very exciting. I have some great Florida musicians joining me and we will be doing a mix of originals and covers including a few blues and classic rock gems from my family legacy.”
The legacy Will speaks of is that of growing up in a renowned music family. He is the son of producer Andy Johns (Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin) and Paula Boyd and the nephew of celebrated recording engineer Glyn Johns (The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton). Will’s aunt Pattie Boyd was famously married to both George Harrison and Eric Clapton inspiring some of their best-known hits.
Will started playing the guitar as a teenager, with plenty of encouragement from Uncle Eric. Like any creative artist, it wasn’t long before Johns’ own inventiveness kicked-in and he soon developed his own distinctive sound that is both cutting-edge and steeped in blues history.
Will has performed alongside music luminaries including his uncle Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood (Rolling Stones), Nile Rodgers (Chic), Jack Bruce (Cream), Glenn Hughes, Dennis Chambers and Terry Reid just to name a few. With his own Blues Daddy show he has played European festivals, sold out club dates and in 2023 performed in Florida. As a member of the legacy shows The Music of Cream and The Cream of Clapton he has toured the USA, Canada and Europe.
