  • Roman numerals are used to name the Super Bowl to avoid confusion.

Now that you’ve freshened up on your Super Bowl history, here is our list of delicious cocktails for cheering on your Super Bowl pick on game day!

The Blitz Spritz

This is a twist on a classic cocktail that is light, fresh, and citrusy. The Aperol Spritz combines four simple ingredients: Aperol, Prosecco, Club Soda, and fresh orange slices. We suggest squeezing your oranges into the drink for a slightly sweeter cocktail.

What You Will Need:

  • 1 ½ ounces of Aperol
  • 3 ounces of Prosecco
  • ¾ ounce of Club Soda
  • Orange Slice for garnish
  • Wine glass filled with ice

Dirty Rita Receiver

This drink will surely catch your attention when you take a sip! It cuts down on the sweetness of a traditional margarita and satisfies you with a salty-sweet finish. You can use margarita mix or squeeze your own limes to create this masterpiece. If tequila is not your thing, try substituting it for vodka!

What You Will Need:

  • 1 ½ ounces of tequila of your choice
  • ½ ounce of Triple Sec
  • 1 ounce margarita mix
  • ¼ ounce olive juice

Mix all ingredients in a shaker with ice, then strain and pour into a cup with ice. You can garnish the drink with a lime, lemon, orange slice or even a few olives.

Touchdown Tini

Players will not be the only thing subbing during the game. This drink leaves room for different substitutions depending on your preference. You can use different flavors of vodka like lemon, strawberry, or raspberry. You can also use gin for a more traditional drink.

What You Will Need:

  • 1 ½ ounces Citron Vodka
  • ¼ ounce simple syrup
  • ¼ ounce lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges
  • Cane sugar

Rim a martini glass with the lemon and sugar. Use a cocktail shaker filled with ice to combine the vodka, simple sugar, and lemon juice. Strain the mix into the glass and garnish with a lemon.

Bump-and-Rum

This drink is for those who like beer but are looking for something a little fresher and fruitier. Grab your favorite orange-beer and flavored rum for a tropical twist. The combination of the citrus beer and sweet coconut rum will leave your palette refreshed and ready for the second half of the game!

What You Will Need:

  • 1 ounce Malibu Rum
  • 12 ounces Shock Top
  • 1 orange slice
