Every November, foodies flock to the Dellagio Town Center on Sand Lake Road for a taste of Restaurant Row’s best food and beverage offerings. This year is no exception. The Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips will host A Taste of Dr. Phillips, a showcase of 25 of the area’s finest restaurants, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 10.
Foodies Rejoice
In addition to the silent auction on site, you can also bid online even if you’re unable to attend. You can find holiday gifts for your loved ones while helping to raise money for local charities.
The Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips and The Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips Foundation have been supporting local charities and nonprofits since 1979. Operating on the motto, “Service Above Self,” Rotarians are local business and community leaders who put on two signature community events each year, including A Taste of Dr. Phillips.
Giving Back
Ticket proceeds will benefit the organizations and projects that the Rotary Club of Dr. Phillips support throughout the year. This includes A Gift for Teaching, Dr. Phillips High School projects and programs, Give Kids the World, YMCA of Dr. Phillips and Dr. Phillips Little League, among others.
As one of the area’s largest signature events, general admission tickets are $75 and VIP tickets are available for $95. The biggest benefit to the VIP tickets is early entry into the event, which means you will be one of the first to the covered seating area. Tickets sell out fast, so Kamrada urges those who are interested in the event to purchase tickets sooner rather than later.
Since A Taste of Dr. Phillips will be held on Veterans Day this year, Kamrada promises there will be a proper salute, including an appearance by a color guard and a brief ceremony with the presentation of colors.
