Known for its unforgettable theme parks and attractions and abundance of unique restaurants and bars, Orlando has long been known as a city that’s easy to fall in love with. But did you know that Orlando is one of the best places for you to fall in love?
According to a study conducted by real-estate data company Clever, Orlando is one of the best cities for dating in America. Coming in at 12 on the list, The City Beautiful is full of many date night opportunities.
“We looked at the percentage of the unmarried population, percentage of the unmarried population who works, number of restaurants (per 100K residents), number of entertainment and arts establishments (per 100K residents), cost of an average date – which included rideshare, dinner, two drinks, and a movie for two, and cost of living in each metro to rank for the best location for singles,” says Clever’s lead researcher Dr. Fransesca Ortegren.
The dating scene in Orlando is typically cheaper than other cities. For a night out, including rideshare, drinks, dinner, and a movie, the typical cost is around $99.97, which makes Orlando one of the six cities in America to come under $100. As a comparison, a typical date in Miami might cost around $130 for the same date and around $112 for the national average.
When arranging a perfect date, Orlando residents are greeted with thousands of opportunities. With over 80 restaurants and 49 entertainment options per 100,000 people, which is higher than the national average, Orlando is full of fun and exciting choices to make for the ideal date.
