Anna Woodman Interior Design, a leading commercial interior design firm in South Florida, has recently unveiled the stunning redesign of one of Winter Park’s beloved culinary destinations, The Ravenous Pig. Owned and operated by James Beard award-nominated chefs Julie and James Petrakis of JP Restaurants, The Ravenous Pig has long been a cornerstone of the Orlando dining scene.
Nestled in the heart of Winter Park, The Ravenous Pig now boasts a refreshed ambiance that seamlessly blends the warmth of Southern hospitality with the historic charm of Charleston, South Carolina. Spearheading this transformation, Anna Woodman has masterfully crafted a space that not only pays homage to the restaurant’s roots but also elevates the dining experience to new heights.
Drawing inspiration from Charleston’s timeless allure, the redesign introduces a cohesive color palette featuring navy blue, merlot red, and rich coppers, complemented by cream and gold accents. These elements, coupled with luxurious upholsteries, imbue the space with an eclectic yet elegant atmosphere that beckons guests to indulge in the culinary delights offered.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed by a bespoke art installation by Locol Arts and Mojo Metalworks, showcasing an artistic array of chef’s knives—a nod to the restaurant’s famed butcher cut specials. Throughout the establishment, unique artworks await discovery, adding to the allure of the dining experience.
In the main dining room, patrons are enveloped in luxury as they recline in plush leather booths beneath a curated gallery wall celebrating The Ravenous Pig’s rich history. Custom carpeting, feather chandeliers, and captivating artworks further enhance the dining ambiance, inviting guests on a sensory journey through Southern hospitality.
The redesigned bar area stands as a focal point, boasting a striking Cambria quartz countertop adorned with brass alloy veining, accentuated by a deep navy millwork package. Custom icons on each tap pay homage to The Ravenous Pig’s identity, ensuring a cohesive design narrative throughout the space.
Even the restrooms have received a stylish makeover, featuring bold custom wallpaper and sophisticated dark-wood finishes. Meanwhile, the private event and dining space exudes an upscale Southern charm, providing guests with an intimate setting reminiscent of a refined kitchen gathering.
Situated at 565 West Fairbanks Ave in Winter Park, The Ravenous Pig offers a total of 118 seats across its main dining room, bar, outdoor patio, and Beer Garden. Additionally, an indoor private dining space accommodates up to 24 guests, catering to various dining preferences.
Anna Woodman’s collaboration with JP Restaurants extends beyond The Ravenous Pig, encompassing notable projects such as Cask & Larder Orlando and The Polite Pig.
