Both Orlando Spots Rank in the Top 25
Orlando’s Japanese cuisine scene continues to shine, with two local sushi restaurants earning top spots on Yelp’s “Top 100 Sushi Spots” of 2024.
Yelp’s recent national ranking highlights Orlando’s Kadence and Edoboy in the top 25, cementing the city’s reputation for exceptional sushi.
Kadence, located at 1809 E. Winter Park Road, secured the No. 18 spot. This intimate, reservation-only omakase bar, owned by Mark and Jennifer Berdin, has been a staple in Orlando for a decade. With one Michelin star, Kadence consistently delivers a remarkable dining experience.
Edoboy, situated at 728 N. Thornton Ave., ranked No. 21. This unique, eight-seat, standing-only sushi spot, opened by Sonny Nguyen in 2022, quickly garnered acclaim. Edoboy made it onto Yelp’s “Top 100 Places to Eat” earlier this year and earned a Michelin Guide listing after just one year. It also won third place in Orlando Weekly’s 2023 reader poll for “Best Sushi.”
Yelp crafted its rankings by seeking out establishments that use the freshest ingredients and feature highly trained sushi chefs who create the perfect bite.
