Rita Khoury Rahbany, M.D, founder of Advanced Diabetes and Endocrine Medical Center, specializes in endocrinology and the treatment of diabetes and metabolic disorders.

She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Florida and her endocrine fellowship at the George Washington University in Washington D.C. There, she trained with world-renowned experts in the multidisciplinary areas of endocrinology.

Dr. Rahbany has been serving the Central Florida community through her medical care since 1999. She established her own practice in 2004. She has been acknowledged with providing excellent care to patients with diabetes, thyroid diseases, pituitary and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone disease and women’s health issues.

Dr. Rahbany is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Endocrinology and Metabolism. She participates in many professional organizations, including American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, American Diabetes Association and American Medical Association. Dr. Rahbany has medical staff privileges at Florida Hospital Healthcare System.

When Dr. Rahbany isn’t treating patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her children, traveling, walking and reading.

About Advanced Diabetes & Endocrine Center

This practice treats patients dealing with juvenile and adult onset diabetes. It also treats gestational diabetes, thyroid diseases, pituitary dysfunction, hormonal imbalance and more. The office is situated in the heart of Orlando. It is centrally located near the University of Central Florida, Winter Park, Downtown Orlando, Lake Nona and Waterford Lakes.
