2018 Summer Camp Guide

Are you a nature lover? Do you have a passion for fashion? Are you enthusiastic about art? Summer camps offer a wide variety of programs for all your different interests.

No matter which camp you choose or whether you stay a day, a week, or longer, you will have a ton of fun making new friends, trying new things, practicing new-found skills, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

YMCA of Central Florida

A welcoming, safe environment for children to discover new hobbies, form friendships and make memories—that’s what summer camp at the YMCA is all about. And your family is invited to be a part of it. With camps ranging from aquatics, sports, specialty, resident and day camps, the YMCA of Central Florida has something for kids with all interests. Camps offered include: Day Camps, Specialty Camps, Sports Camp, Aquatics Camp, Middle School Camps, Resident Camps.

SuperCamp

SuperCamp helps teens and pre-teens reach their full potential by teaching them valuable learning and life skills that last a lifetime. With these newfound skills, students gain confidence and motivation to be their best self, in school and in life.

  • When: July 9-14 (incoming 6th to 8th graders) and July 17-22 (incoming 9th to 12th graders)

2018 Summer Art Camp

Students entering grades 1-8 can participate in theme-based studio art sessions this summer. Become immersed in art-making experiences that place value on the process of creative expression in a relaxed atmosphere.


Boardwalk Bowl Summer Camp

Keep the kids cool, active and entertained this summer! Kids will enjoy bowling, movies, games, reading, field trips, crafts and more. Lunch, snacks and beverages are included. Drop off as early as 7 a.m. and pick up as late at 6:30 p.m.

    • When: June 4 – Aug. 10

Orange County Library Systems – Summer Reading Program

The annual OCLS Summer Reading Program features weekly special events at all library locations. Also, sign up for technology camps and classes to create video games, mix music and more; complete activities to earn virtual badges; and get great book recommendations online.

Orlando Repertory Theatre 2018 Summer Camps 

Summer camps return to Orlando REP with dozens of offerings for students in Pre-K through graduating high school seniors. Theatre is a powerful tool for building confidence, creating joy, and discovering personal voice. Inspired by young people’s favorite movies, TV shows, musicals, and artists, Orlando REP’s Youth Academy presents a line-up of camps where students may use their imaginations to bring characters and stories to life.

Full Sail Labs Summer Camps

Full Sail Labs’ week–long Summer Camps run June through July and are located in Lake Nona and Winter Park. Kids (7-12) and teens (13-17) use professional equipment to learn filmmaking, music production, game design and much more!

SeaWorld Camp

SeaWorld Camps provide a learning environment that fosters exploration and self-discovery. There is a day camp experience where campers will learn about animals and even have up-close encounters, or resident camps that provide hands-on learning techniques for students interested in potential careers with animals.
