An Industrial Revolution

Elegance Above All
The major lighting element in this formal living room is the pewter and metal chandelier, which distributes a soft glow around the entire space. Its silver leaf finish throughout and the gold leaf accents on the arms add a French feel.

Two Styles, One Design
For this particular industrial-meets-French style, pieces like this couch with distressed wood accents along the arms and base are the perfect combination. The wooden elements are a key feature for the industrial look while the light shade of the fabric and distressed feature in the wood gives a shabby chic feel.

Creating Harmony
A fun way to continue layering those industrial elements is investing in a piece like this mirrored coffee table. Not only does it brighten the room even more by bouncing light throughout the space but its strong angles contrast with the rounded edges of the rest of the furniture to balance and bring harmony to the design.

Works of Art
The main focal point in this design is this beautiful mural by Carl Robinson and the complementary accent art pieces that were created with wallpaper. Purple was chosen for the border and pink for the accents because those two colors were represented minimally in the mural, making the core colors pop.
