The City of Lake Mary is excited to announce its annual Holiday in the Park celebration, a cherished tradition that will bring festive cheer to the community on December 6th, 2024. The event will occur at Central Park, 100 N Country Club Road, Lake Mary, FL 32746. It will feature a wide range of activities for all ages to enjoy, including holiday light shows, a synthetic ice-skating rink, food trucks, and a special visit from our friends in the North Pole!
“We are thrilled to host Holiday in the Park once again and bring the magic of the season to our
residents and visitors,” Bryan Nipe, Director of Economic Development and Parks and
Recreation, City of Lake Mary said. “This event has become a highlight of the holiday season, and
we can’t wait to celebrate with the entire community.”
The festivities will kick off at 6:00 pm and continue until 9:00 pm. Highlights of the event
include:
• Opening Ceremony and Tree Lighting at 6:30pm.
• Holiday Light Shows: Breathtaking light displays will illuminate Central Park, bringing
the holiday spirit to life every 30 minutes.
• Visits with Santa: Children will have the chance to meet Santa and take photos with him
to remember the day starting at 6:45pm. The line begins on the North side of City Hall.

• Holiday Marketplace and Food Vendors: Local vendors and food trucks will showcase
unique holiday gifts, crafts, and seasonal treats.
Road Closure Information
• 4th Street Closure: 4th Street, from Lake Mary Boulevard to Lakeview Avenue will be
closed to vehicle traffic from 4:00 pm to 9:30pm on the day of the event.
Pedestrian Access: Pedestrian access to Central Park will remain open. Attendees are
encouraged to use the pedestrian bridge and designated crosswalks to access the event
space.
“We encourage everyone to bring their family and friends out for this festive, free event,” Nipe said. “Whether you’re enjoying the holiday lights or sharing a smile with Santa, there’s something for everyone to make this holiday season special.”
Holiday in the Park is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and
family to beautiful Downtown Lake Mary to enjoy the festivities and shop for holiday gifts.
Parking will be available at nearby lots.
