January is here, and if you are like most people, you are motivated and have goals to fulfill in 2014. The Oviedo ~ Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce has plenty of events and opportunities to help you reach those goals. Join us for our first luncheon of the year on Thursday, January 9. Luncheons are a great opportunity to network and also learn a little something on your lunch break. Our January luncheon is our Annual State of the Cities. The mayors of both Oviedo and Winter Springs will be there to address the outlook of their cities.
In February, we are pleased to have Seminole County’s supervisor of elections, Michael Ertel, who will provide an election law updates. March will be a busy month featuring our 20th Annual Taste of Oviedo! This year’s event will be bigger and better than ever and will feature our first ever Chicken Chomp Contest. On May 23 and 24, Seminole County will participate in Central Florida’s BBQ Blowout. With 2013 being such a successful first year for the event, we are very excited about 2014 and what it will bring. This year is also an election year, so we will be hosting the East Side Regional Hob Nob at UCF once again. Stay tuned for an official date and time.
