It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

You may have just finished your second pumpkin spice latte of the day but at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Central Floridians and visitors alike don’t have to venture far to walk in a winter wonderland. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is sprinkled with live entertainment, spectacular fireworks and festive holiday music to put you in the Christmas spirit, but it’s the cozy details that really make you warm and fuzzy. Falling snowflakes tickle your nose on Main Street, U.S.A as you take in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, where you will surely spot the big man himself, Santa Claus.

Be sure to make your way to the holiday dance party at Club Tinsel (located inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café) to burn off those complimentary cookie, apple cider, eggnog and hot cocoa calories. This season’s totally sweet cookie lineup includes snickerdoodle, ginger molasses, sugar, peppermint crunch and Santa cookies. Head over to Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland to try the snowman soft pretzel if you need a retreat from sweets. All holiday treat locations stay open until midnight, and alternative healthy and gluten-free options are available upon request for guests with dietary restrictions.

If catching a show is more your speed, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas features a spaced-out twist on classic holiday songs all while Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski, Stitch and host Haley Comet take the Rockettower Plaza stage. You can also chill with the coolest characters from Frozen, Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff, at Cinderella’s Castle Forecourt Stage as they light up the holiday season in A Frozen Holiday Wish.

The night of festivities wouldn’t be complete without meet-and-greet opportunities with some of your favorite Disney characters decked to the halls in their holly jolly outfits.

The exclusive event generally boasts smaller crowds and shorter lines to all of your favorite attractions, compared to regular admission hours, making any Disney fanatic feel as if Christmas did actually come early.
