AdventHealth is revolutionizing healthcare in Central Florida with its new 10-story hospital in Orlando’s Lake Nona community. Located at 10999 Narcoossee Road, this state-of-the-art facility is set to become a landmark, offering much more than just medical services. The campus will feature an amphitheater, shopping options, and a variety of restaurants, making it a destination even for residents who don’t require medical care.

Comprehensive Healthcare and Beyond

Scheduled to open in 2026, the hospital will initially offer 80 beds, with the capacity to expand to 320. It will host a medical office building and several structures dedicated to retail and dining, integrating seamlessly into the Lake Nona community’s vibrant lifestyle. The design will be warm and inviting, with artistic touches that reflect the unique character of Lake Nona.

“We envision this as a health and wellbeing destination, integrated into the Lake Nona community with something to offer to everyone,” said Doug Harcombe, CEO of the hospital, in a news release.

Cutting-Edge Medical Services

AdventHealth Lake Nona will provide a wide range of medical services, including:

  • Men’s health
  • Bariatrics
  • Neurology
  • Cardiology
  • Orthopedics

A notable feature of the hospital will be its incisionless surgical suite, which will focus on advanced, focused-energy treatments. These pioneering techniques include using ultrasound to destroy tumors and alleviate tremors in Parkinson’s disease patients.

A Wellness-Oriented Community

The hospital is part of Lake Nona’s broader vision of fostering wellness and community engagement. The 25-acre campus will boast a lake promenade, an event lawn, and an amphitheater. It will also connect to the Lake Nona Trail, enhancing the area’s recreational offerings.

“As the fastest-growing community in Central Florida, we are eager to ensure our residents have access to the most innovative treatments available,” said Craig Collin, president and COO of Tavistock Development Group, in a news release. “We are pleased to have AdventHealth expand its presence in Lake Nona.”
