Embrace the Wurst: The Best Oktoberfest Events in Orlando

Prost! Mark your calendars and plan to celebrate Oktoberfest locally and enjoy culture, music, beer, and delicious foods. Oktoberfest is an annual 16-day-long Volksfest that originated in Germany in the 1800s and celebrates Bavarian culture, but the festivities are widely famous for the amount of beer consumed. Despite the name, Oktoberfest is held from mid-September to early October. 

From bar hopping to beer gardens, you can check out Oktoberfest at several locations in Greater Orlando and surround yourself with the beauty of Bavaria without hopping on a plane. 

Krush Brau Park Oktoberfest 

What’s a better place to celebrate Oktoberfest than a German-inspired beer garden? Kissimmee’s Krau Brau Park will allow you to celebrate Oktoberfest from September 16 to October 22. With the promise of bratwurst, baked pretzels, Bavarian decor and more, it will be hard to believe you aren’t actually in Munich. 

Orlando Official Oktoberfest 2023

Celebrate Oktoberfest on September 30 at Orlando’s Official Oktoberfest. You’re sure to have an adventure as you partake in a pub crawl from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and experience a night of select German brews, traditional folk music, unique bars, and meeting new people. 

Lake Nona Oktoberfest 

On September 30 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Lake Nona will hold its Oktoberfest with German food and entertainment, live music, and an annual Stein Hoisting competition. The event is free, and you do not need a ticket. 

Avalon Park Oktoberfest and Beer Garden 

Avalon Park will have a back-to-back beer garden and community festival on October 13 and 14 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Attendees can expect German beer, live music, food, Alpine dancing, and games for the kids. 

Oktoberfest – German American Society of Central Florida

Claiming to be the most authentic Oktoberfest in the region, the GASCF welcomes you to celebrate Oktoberfest 2023 on two separate days. On October 7, from noon to 10 p.m., you can experience a traditional Oktoberfest full of dancing, German food, beer, a flag parade, and more.

If you want to experience something original, October 28 will offer a special Halloween Oktoberfest. Guests can experience the joy of Halloween and Oktoberfest all rolled into one for the perfect fall celebration. 

Oktoberfest Beer Festival – New York Beer Project Orlando

This is the perfect event for you if you are mainly interested in beer during Oktoberfest! On October 15 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., taste test ten 5 o.z. tasters of German and craft beers with several flavors ranging from Drunkin Punkin to Augustiner Lager. The ticket also includes one German food item of your choice and a commemorative stein. There is also a chance to win prizes throughout the day, including a costume contest.
