Get Back to Nature at Bill Frederick Park

MetroWest residents need look no further than Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake for a unique nature experience close to home.

Renamed in 2004 for longtime City of Orlando Mayor Bill Frederick, the park encompasses 183 acres of land along Turkey Lake, which is one of the top-five-rated fishing lakes in Florida. Nature lovers will find a wide variety of recreational activities and picturesque vistas to enjoy.

With its convenient location close to many of Orlando’s largest attractions and theme parks, Bill Frederick Park’s RV campground offers an attractive alternative to staying at a traditional hotel.

For drone enthusiasts, the park features a dedicated Drone Zone complete with multiple outlets for battery pack charging at the Drone Zone pavilion. Other activities at Bill Frederick Park include bird watching, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, and biking/jogging.
