Now in its 11th year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that is fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. This movement, which kicks off the charitable season when many focus on their end-of-the-year giving, takes place on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and will take place this year on Nov. 29.
The nonprofits below are just some of the local organizations participating in this special day. Don’t see your favorite charity on the list? Visit their website to find out what their needs are this #GivingTuesday.
