New Beginnings

Happy New Year! Join us at our annual State of the Cities Luncheon, sponsored by Seminole State College, on Jan. 12, when both Mayor Dominic Persampiere and Mayor Charles Lacey will give an update on our cities. Our community is currently experiencing a lot of growth and many changes. Be there to hear all the news, and have an opportunity to ask any questions you have. This luncheon consistently sells outs, so make sure you get your tickets in advance.

Wondering how you can become more involved this year? We have many opportunities for you and your business. One great way to learn of these opportunities is to attend our Membership 101 event on Jan. 19. You do not need to be a chamber member to attend.

Did you know we hold Business After Hours every week, 12 monthly luncheons, 10 Bagels & Businesses events, and we put on three signature events each with their own planning committee. There are also a women’s and young executives’ group, four business alliances, an Economic Development and Education Committee and more. There’s a fit for you, so come find it!

Refreshments will be served and you will have the opportunity to hear from chamber President/CEO Todd Sykes as he provides an overview of all the ways you can get the most out of your membership investment. This event is only held every four months so don’t miss out.
