Orlando Kicks Off Year-Long 150th Anniversary Celebration

The City of Orlando has officially launched its year-long 150th anniversary celebration this week, marking a significant milestone in the city’s rich history. The kickoff event, hosted at City Commons Plaza, was led by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Orlando City Council, alongside city officials and community representatives.

A Grand Unveiling and Festivities to Come

Mayor Dyer, joined by local leaders, proudly unveiled a commemorative banner, setting the stage for a series of events and activities that will honor Orlando’s Sesquicentennial.
