Orlando’s 24th Annual Bike to Work Day Celebrates Florida Bike Month

Orlando’s 24th Annual Bike to Work Day will take place on March 28, celebrating Florida Bike Month. The event encourages residents to embrace eco-friendly transportation, promotes cycling safety, and highlights the city’s ongoing efforts to improve biking infrastructure, as mentioned on the City of Orlando’s event page. Open to all skill levels, this community ride offers an opportunity to engage with fellow cyclists and advocates for alternative transportation.

The event will begin at 7:00 AM at Luminary Green Park, with check-in starting at that time. The group ride, led by Mayor Buddy Dyer, will commence at 8:00 AM, covering a 3.5-mile route through downtown Orlando. Along the way, participants can experience the city’s cycling infrastructure and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow riders.

Event Highlights

Participants can look forward to a morning of activities beyond the group ride. There will be opportunities to interact with local vendors and community partners who support cycling and sustainability efforts. Additionally, free safety gear and merchandise will be distributed while supplies last.
