The 2022 Florida Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 23. In a Primary Election a qualified voter can only vote the official Primary Election ballot of the political party designated on their voter registration. However, non-partisan races will appear on all ballots.
There will be elections for U.S. Senator, Representative in Congress, Governor, Attorney General, Commissioner of Agriculture, County Mayor, County Commissioners, School Board Chair, County Judges and Circuit Judges. The ballot also includes a School Board question that all voters will have.
What You Need to Know:
Primary Voting locations will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. and remember if you are in line to vote at 7 p.m., stay in line, you cannot be turned away. You must show an ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, military ID, student ID, or retirement center ID to vote.
