A Taste of Dr. Phillips

On Nov. 13, the Dellagio Town Center will be buzzing with locals eager to taste their way around Restaurant Row. The Dr. Phillips Rotary Club will be hosting its 10th annual A Taste of Dr. Phillips event at the venue from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., offering a taste of the restaurants that distinguish Dr. Phillips as a foodie destination.

More than 20 area restaurants will be offering unlimited food, wine and beer samples including Black Rock Grill, Blue Martini, Dragonfly Sushi, Earl’s Kitchen and Bar, Eddie V’s, Flemings Prime Steakhouse, Urbain 40, Vines Grill and Wine Bar and more. With a mix of casual bites and indulgent flavors, A Taste of Dr. Phillips has something for every palate.

Not only will this foodie event feature delicious dishes and wonderful wines, but it also brings the community together for an afternoon of networking. For the past nine years, A Taste of Dr. Phillips has attracted hundreds of area business leaders and residents to mix, mingle and hopefully leave with new contacts and friends.

A Taste of Dr. Phillips will also feature entertainment by Memorable DJ Entertainment, Robbie Demoor. There will also be a silent auction where guests can bid on items donated by sponsors and local businesses.

Admission to A Taste of Dr. Phillips is all-inclusive and each ticket, priced at $65 per person, includes self-serve wine, beer and soft drinks as well as self-serve food samples from all of the participating restaurants. For the first time, VIP tickets will be available for $95. The VIP experience allows ticketholders to start tasting early at 12:45 p.m. and also features separate covered seating areas, beverage service and self-serve food samples.

When taking part in this event, you will celebrate local businesses as well as support local charities. The Dr. Phillips Rotary is focused on bringing together professional leaders who are dedicated to service and high ethical standards, and each fundraiser benefits work in the local and international community.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from A Taste of Dr. Phillips will directly benefit the Dr. Phillips community including a number of charities that the Dr. Phillips Rotary Club supports all year round. Organizations impacted by A Taste of Dr. Phillips include A Gift for Teaching, Give Kids the World, Dr. Phillips High School projects and programs, YMCA of Dr. Phillips, Salvation Army and more.

This year’s event chair, Al Gardner of A & L Associates, as well as all of the members of the Dr. Phillips Rotary Club invite community members to come out to sip and savor all of the flavors of Restaurant Row at this year’s A Taste of Dr. Phillips event.
