Rev Up Your Engines! Exciting Doubleheader in Daytona

In an unprecedented turn of events, the Daytona 500, known as “The Great American Race,” is set to share the spotlight with the NASCAR Xfinity Series United Rentals 300, creating a thrilling doubleheader for fans today at the Daytona International Speedway. This scheduling shift, prompted by inclement weather, underscores the unpredictable nature of racing and the commitment to delivering non-stop action to the fans.

The Daytona 500 will maintain its scheduled start at 4 p.m., broadcast live on FOX, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, setting the stage for an exhilarating day of racing. In a strategic move to accommodate the weather’s impact, the NASCAR Xfinity Series United Rentals 300 will now take the green flag approximately one hour after the conclusion of the Daytona 500, with an adjusted start time of around 9 p.m. This change ensures that fans will experience back-to-back racing excitement, with the United Rentals 300 also being available on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

For fans holding tickets to both events, the Daytona International Speedway has outlined clear guidelines to ensure a seamless experience. DAYTONA 500 ticket holders will be given priority seating until the completion of the NASCAR Cup Series race. Post-Daytona 500, as the anticipation for the United Rentals 300 builds, fans without tickets to the latter will need to relocate to unoccupied seats, ensuring that United Rentals 300 ticket holders can enjoy their designated spots.

Parking lots opened at 7 a.m., and venue gates, hospitality areas, and the Hardrock Bet Fanzone welcomed fans starting at 10 a.m. The Hard Rock, Bet Fanzone ticketholders access started at 12:30 p.m. for the DAYTONA 500 pre-race ceremonies.

This unique racing day not only showcases the adaptability and fan-first approach of NASCAR but also presents a golden opportunity for sponsors like Cabo Wabo® Tequila to enhance the fan experience. Amidst the rescheduled races, Cabo Wabo’s presence at the Daytona International Speedway, through initiatives like the Responsible Drinking Pledge and the Cabo Wabo Garage, offers fans a chance to engage with the brand in meaningful ways, ensuring the celebration continues responsibly throughout the day.

As we gear up for an unforgettable day of racing at the Daytona International Speedway with just a little over two hours to go, fans are encouraged to stay tuned for live updates and behind-the-scenes coverage. Let’s make it a day to remember.
