Iberia is bringing a new European flight option to Florida with direct flights from Madrid to Orlando starting October 26.
The Spanish airline is promising four weekly flights from Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport (MAD) to Orlando International Airport (MCO) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, operated by an A330 aircraft with the capacity for 254 passengers.
In a release, they say Orlando is one of the top tourist destinations in the United States, with its access to the theme parks, Port Canaveral and the Orange County Convention Center, making it a prime new route addition.
“We are truly pleased to announce the opening of these three new routes next winter season. Thanks to our relationship with Disney Destinations, we believe Orlando can become the star destination for the upcoming Christmas season,” María Jesús López Solás, Director of Sales, Customers, Network Development and Alliances at Iberia said in a statement.
Along with announcing their new route to Orlando, Iberia also said they will be adding flights to Foraleza and Recife in Brazil
