SeaWorld Orlando is set to launch Expedition Odyssey, a groundbreaking attraction that promises to redefine immersive experiences for park guests. Starting April 26, 2025, Annual Pass Members will enjoy exclusive early access to this highly anticipated adventure before its official grand opening to the general public on May 1.
A First-of-Its-Kind Arctic Experience
Touted as the world’s first fully immersive Arctic-themed attraction, Expedition Odyssey combines cutting-edge ride technology, cinematic visuals, and real-life animal encounters. Guests will journey through dramatic Arctic landscapes—from towering glaciers to the depths of the icy ocean—while encountering awe-inspiring wildlife including beluga whales and walruses.
The attraction features a next-generation ride system that allows for an incredibly fluid range of motion, simulating soaring, diving, twisting, and gliding with exceptional realism. Designed to blur the lines between simulation and reality, Expedition Odyssey is poised to become a new benchmark for experiential attractions in the theme park industry.
Early Access for Passholders
SeaWorld Orlando Annual Pass Members will be the first to embark on this unforgettable journey. Preview dates are tiered based on pass level:
Saturday, April 26 – Platinum Passholders Only
Sunday, April 27 – Platinum and Gold Passholders
Monday, April 28 – Platinum, Gold, and Silver Passholders
Tuesday, April 29 – Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Passholders
Wednesday, April 30 – All Passholders and Fun Card Holders
Thursday, May 1 – Official Grand Opening to All Guests

An Adventure for the Whole Family
Expedition Odyssey has been designed with families in mind. With a minimum height requirement of just 39 inches, the ride welcomes both children and adults, offering an adventure that guests of all ages can enjoy together.
Following the ride, guests will transition into an Arctic exhibit featuring live animal encounters. This unique element enhances the immersive experience, providing both thrills and educational value.
