Universal Orlando Resort has announced an exclusive preview period for its highly anticipated new theme park, Universal Epic Universe. During this period, select guests will have early access to explore all five of its immersive worlds prior to the official grand opening on May 22, 2025.
The preview window runs from April 17 through May 8, providing a limited-time opportunity for eligible guests to experience the new park in advance. Depending on the date selected, ticket prices range from $123 to $140.
Who Qualifies for Preview Access?
Access to the preview is available to a select group of guests, including:
Annual and Seasonal Passholders
2025 Military Freedom Pass Ticket Holders
Universal Rewards Signature VISA Card members
Guests with reservations at any Universal Orlando hotel
Universal has allocated a set number of tickets per day exclusively for these groups. The preview is designed to showcase the nearly completed park as final preparations and operational rehearsals are underway. While many attractions will be open, guests should note that some experiences may not yet be fully operational.
How to Purchase or Switch to a Preview Ticket
Guests who already hold tickets to Epic Universe have the option to convert them to a preview ticket by contacting Universal at (866) PASS-4-FUN or visiting Guest Services at Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, or Universal CityWalk.
To simplify the purchasing process, passholders are encouraged to link their passes to their Universal Orlando account wallet, allowing for quicker access to tickets and seamless entry on the day of their visit.
Additional Ticket Options and Hotel Reservations
Universal continues to offer a variety of ticketing options beyond the preview event, including 1-Day tickets, multi-day passes, and Florida resident packages.
In addition, Universal Orlando is now accepting hotel reservations for its newest property, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel – a Loews Hotel, with stays beginning April 16.
